This model is the first in the Atelier Anniversary Edition Series and is designed for all kinds of sewing, including home décor, fashion, quilting, and more. It has a spacious 8.2” arm width and 4.7” height to handle larger projects comfortably. With 120 stitches to choose from, including 7 buttonhole styles and an alphabet, it offers lots of options. Simply open the top cover to see the variety of 7mm-wide stitches. It sews smoothly at up to 820 stitches per minute, with features like needle up/down for easy cornering, a built-in thread cutter, and automatic needle threading to make sewing more convenient and enjoyable.

It is the 10th Anniversary of the fabulous Atelier Series. And to celebrate, we have launched a NEW Anniversary Edition range of machines.

These contemporary styled, well illuminated, free arm sewing machines have a new look. The chassis is a little slimmer with gentle curves and there are added features to some models. The larger arm space, 210mm to the right of the needle. Easy-to- use computerised features and the superior feeding system ensure the atelier models are equally suited to both larger projects and precision sewing. Perfect to take your sewing to a new level!

We know that reliability is the most important feature. When you sit down to sew on your JANOME atelier machine, you can be confident that it is up to any task – from stitching the sheerest silks to the thickest quilt sandwich layers. When using lightweight fabrics or piecing quilts, a straight stitch needle plate makes all the difference. 9mm models have our One Step™ Plate Converter which allows you to switch from the zig zag to the straight stitch plate at the touch of a button – no screwdrivers required!
